Tragedy really can happen in a blink of an eye.
Or from a wrongly-sent text message.
Well, this had been the destiny of an ill-fated guy as he incidentally sent a text message, supposedly for his ‘other’ girlfriend, to his current girlfriend named Arjhei Almadin.
In her Facebook post, Arjhei shared a snap of the conversation starting from her boyfriend’s message which reads, “Babe matangkad ka no?”
Judging from the message itself, we cannot acknowledge something malicious or out-of-tune.
But for Arjhei, it sold her boyfriend’s malicious secret relationship right away.
And why not?
They, at the first place, do not call each other ‘babe.’
Second, would you ask your long-time girlfriend that question?
Well, that is a no-brainer.
But surprisingly, the netizen didn’t confronted her boyfriend and threw hurtful statements.
Instead, she calmly asked him with the sarcastic query, “Sino babe mo?” partnered with an ironic smile emoticon.
When her boyfriend refused to reply, she continued with her messages and requests.
One of her message reads, “Nakakapanlambot naman yong nabasa ko, pero syempre di ako magagalet.”
Another said, “Wag kang mag-alala kalmado lang ako. Paliwanag lang kailangan ko kung sino babae mo.”
Though trying her best to be as calm as possible, her efforts proved to be futile.
Her boyfriend continuously refused to give his side that left Arjhei wondering of what really happened.
And since patience, even when its very extensive, has its own limitations and end, Arjhei soon realized her situation and decided to sever their ties.
As doon as she posted her experiences in Facebook, it quickly became viral and many praised her for being brave enough to stay off the course of their ill-fated relationship.
Well, this can very well serve as a reminder for all the guys out there: be honest to your loved ones.
And, think before you send.
