After some time being busy with projects and shows, Alden Richards just got his much-needed rest and vacation.
Alden became one of the favorite celebrities to star in many advertisements plus the fact that he was a mainstay host in the country’s longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
So this Yuletide season, just like his on-screen partner Maine Mendoza, he chose to escape the stress and relax on the Land of the Rising Sun with his family.
According to Alden, it was the first that he will be travelling abroad together with his family.
“My family and I, we’re flying to Japan for the holidays. We’re gonna spend Christmas there. It’s the first time ng family ko to go out of the country as a group, kasi puro dito lang kami,” Alden shared.
He then expressed his excitement of their trip.
“Very excited ako kasi parang I told them na yung pangingibang bansa ko the past two years, kulang siya when you’re not with the presence of the people that you love,” he explained.
He then added, “So, yung family ko, it’s their time to experience what I’ve been experiencing.”
The half of the phenomenal loveteam AlDub shared that they initially wanted to visit Europe but later decided to go to Japan instead because of his grandparents’ health condition.
“Well, it’s supposed to be in Europe, but the doctors of my grandparents advised them that they cannot travel long anymore. So, nag-adjust na lang ako, kasi mahirap na, long flights and medyo foreign country siya.”
He continued, “To lessen the casualties, I opted to pick the country nearest to the Philippines.”
Because of the happiness brought about by this trip, he will surely want to repeat it next year.
“Next year, sana makapag-travel pa ako a lot with family, kasi iba rin yung experience na kasama ko sila,” he stated.
Well, he is making the most of his well-deserved vacation.
