“Give love on Christmas day.”
And give love is what ‘Catwalk King’ Sinon Loresca did as he decided to be the literation of the above statement for the less fortunate families.
Though the majority of other people decide to spend the Yuletide season in form of vacation and rest, Sinon chose to embod the very essence of it.
Giving out foods and goods to the poor families, Sinon mirrored that his heart is as good as his catwalk skills.
Recalling, Sinon became an instant social media sensation after his videos featuring him catwalking while on high heels became viral.
And this Christmas, he chose to recall his humble beginnings and help those who experience similar status as him before luck struck.
He was once disowned by her mother when she knew about his gender preference.
Because of it, he was forced to live with the less fortunates in the ‘garbage mountain’ in Manila.
And now, after ten years, he is already an icon for those who are disturbed by equality and social disparity.
In an interview, he said, “For me, I have so much confidence to do it. I really love it. If it makes people happy or not, I don’t give a shit. It is my passion. I feel happy when I do it. I know that not only women can catwalk. Everyone can do it, even if they’re masculine, as long as they love it.”
Indeed, loving what you do makes you loved by the people around you.
