In yesterday’s episode of ‘Its Showtime’, mainstay host Vice Ganda stole the limelight when he revealed one past moment where he tried to end his life.
During the show’s segment Tawag ng Tanghalan, an OFW contestant from Japan shared about the high suicide rate in the country.
This prompted Vice to share about his experience when he was 16-years old to commit suicide, too.
“Yung suicide, super bad idea.
He then continued, “Sixteen years old, nag-try akong mag-suicide because of heart break.”
Despite the cheers and jeers from the crowd, he continued to provide details and realizations from his experience.
Vice shared to the crowd’s delight.
He also added that he will not be able to provide her mother a good life should his attempt to end his life succeeded.
In the end, the well-known comedian left a serious note and reminder about suicide.
“Kaya we have to be very wise sa mga desisyon natin, kasi isang maling katangahan, hindi na natin talaga maibabalik,” he said.
Indeed, suicide brings no benefit, only harm.
