“My family is the reason why I’m excited to get married.”
This had been the simple answer of young star Maxene Magalona on queries about her feelings especially now that her marriage is nearing.
Her fiancé, Robby Mananquil, is a musician and he proposed to her in their recent trip to Japan.
In an interview with morning show “Magandang Buhay,” Maxene went emotional as she emphasized the fact that she was very grateful in having Rob in her life.
She also stressed the importance of respecting the families and friends of each party.
“A healthy marriage dapat kasama yung families ng bawat isa. Family nya, family ko, and syempre ikaw as a person, hindi ka magiging buo kung hindi dahil sa mga pamilya mo, at sa mga kaibigan mo,” she said.
She continued, “Kaya dapat hindi sila mawala sa buhay mo. And you have to make time kaya dapat you know, love your family and don’t ever take them for granted.”
Maxene pointed to her family as her inspiration while she enter a new chapter of her life.
“My family is the reason why I’m excited to get married. Syempre si Rob, I’m very excited to spend my life with him. And I’m so blessed na sya yung makakasama ko because he’s such a kind-hearted person,” Maxene stated.
She also mirrored the fact that she was lucky to have Rob.
“Yung pagkatao rin ni Rob is very hard to find. And i’m very blessed na nakilala ko sya. But at the same time also going into this new chapter of my life, my family is my inspiration,” she said.
As she went on, Maxene got emotional when she explained why her family motivates her to have a strong and healthy future family.
“They’re the reason why mas malakas din yung loob ko to enter this new chapter of my life because I see how happy we all are, how close we all are, so yun yung inspiration ko. Gusto ko ganun din yung future family ko,” Maxene said between tears.
