Being a celebrity entails a lot of different hardships.
A lot of those, literally a lot, comes from mean tweets and comments raining down from fans.
And Hashtag member Jameson Blake is one of the lastest stars to receive the rage of the netizen’s.
Even this early, the young star already receives bashes from the loyal Elmo-Janella fandom, who calls themselves with the uniname ElNella.
As the news broke out that Jameson will be paired with Janella in the up and coming Regal’s project So Connected in 2018, he already received numerous bash from netizens.
“Well, to be honest, it’s actually happening now, e. It’s like some people are bashing me on Twitter,” the young star disclosed.
But he treats it calmly and peacefully.
“Mabuti na lang my fans are helping me ’cause I don’t want to fight with anyone. Ako, as person, I’m a peaceful person. I don’t like fights. Kahit mga ano sa internet, hindi naman ako umaaway sa Twitter or anything,” he shared.
Asked about his view on this matter, he stated, “Siguro may mga fans, of course, their loyal to their… if they have another love team, ganun, they’ll have an argument, they won’t agree with that.”
He also revealed that he was affected by those bash especially their upcoming project is his biggest one so far.
“Well, medyo. Like, if they say something about me na medyo personal na. Of course, I’m not doing naman anything. I’m not fighting with the fans naman, e.And I’m just telling them how happy I am to work with her [Janella], happy to get the lead role,” he commented.
He also disclosed that he once suffered from anxiety but is slowly learning the basics of being a celebrity.
“Well, dati kasi, I went through anxiety. Pag mga ganung bagay sa instatweets, I’ll be really affected. But when I went into showbiz, I learned to ignore it, stuff like that. Siguro sanayan lang. Ngayon, when I see those tweets, naapektuhan din ako ng konti, I just learned to forget about it, cause people can really be… they would disagree sa mga sinasabi,” the Fil-Am actor declared.
How about Janella’s reaction to their bashers?
“Well, she knows na people are really like that. That they can be mean. Even siya mismo, she said na she has fans na are mean as well, so we can’t control that, e,” he said.
The 20-year old actor continued, “What we’re focusing now is yung good work namin, what we’re doing for the movie, yung craft namin. So, yun ang focus namin. We don’t really talk about the bashers. The fans kasi, expected naman na may mga ganung tao.”
Since So Connected is slated next year, Jameson’s sole focus right now is the success of his most recent film Haunted Forest.
