Dining at high-end restaurants can be awkward especially when you have to look your best and avoid getting into accidents like spilling wine over your clothes. But worry not. In a new restaurant in Paris, you will never get into such accidents—because you don’t need to wear anything when eating.
Yes, this new restaurant has only one requirement: you need to dine completely naked. To avoid outsiders peeking in, or voyeurs taking pictures, all of the windows are covered with a white curtain. But everyone in the restaurant can see everyone else.
The food is standard French fare—foie gras, fish, and more—and the intimate establishment only seats 40. Though all customers are required to dine in the nude, waiters and cooks keep their clothes on for hygienic reasons.
Clothed diners will be shown to a locker room on arrival where they can remove their clothes, and dine freely without being judged by others.
The restaurant’s bosses, fraternal twin brothers Mike and Stephane Saada, have vowed to deliver a “bistronomic” experience offering “refined cuisine in a sober and friendly environment.”
They added: “Whether you are already a naturist or want to try you will be delighted to experience this.”
